The King Took Me on a Mountain Patrol

Monsters, spirits, and humans.

Monsters are born to kill and generally cannot leave the Northern Border. But the Northern Border has three great mountains, each with a divine tree: the Azure Flame Tree, the Blue Ice Tree, and the Brown Earth Tree.

The three trees are claimed by three great clans: the Monkey Clan, the Icewind Clan, and the Greenback Ironclad Bear Clan. Monsters occupy the mountain where the Monkey Clan's tree grows. Since the monsters have not crossed the border and are difficult to fight in the jungle, the human soldiers at the border guard the forest's edge to keep them from escaping.

Li Zhenbai is forced to become the Monkey Clan's king and prepares to reclaim the mountain with the Azure Flame Tree. But just then, the monsters attack the Brown Earth Tree.

As he prepares to fight his way back to the mountain with the Azure Flame Tree, Li Zhenbai must first repel the monsters' initial invasion. The great war between monsters and spirits begins.
