Genshin Impact: I Still Ended Up Becoming Lord Xiao

In 2035, the full-dive version of Genshin Impact launched to huge success around the world.

Players could experience traditional MMO gameplay, teaming up to fight monsters, level up, and run dungeons.

They could also take part in MOBA-style team challenge matches in the Pale Lands!

On launch day, players were still dressed in beginner gear, gloomily beating up Slimes.

But one player wore a demon mask and carried a green spear, transforming into a green phantom as he darted through hordes of monsters!

The fully constellated Lord Xiao!

…

From then on,

while the game's top guild was still struggling through dungeons, Xiao had already cleared everything with the adorable Hu Tao.

When nobody in the world could beat the highest score in the most difficult domain, Xiao completed it solo during a livestream.

While players from other countries were still struggling to defend their cities, Xiao had already led his team to the edge of the Abyss.

As everyone made their way step by step toward the deepest levels of the Abyss,

a huge secret slowly came to light.
