My Upgrades Are a Little Too Powerful

I don't want to stir up thoughts of you, and I don't dare go outside to look at the moon.

But the moonlight slips in through my window, making me miss you all night.

So, with my heart in turmoil, day after day, I've liked you year after year.

We're both afraid of coming up empty, both weighing our options.

So the scenery beside us keeps changing,

while the words on the tip of our tongues never say what we really mean.

What about you? You've weighed the pros and cons of being with me. Do I have even the slightest chance?
