Godslayer Bureau

In ancient times, there were gods who could shape heaven and earth with a single word and snatch away life and death with a single thought. The gods understood human emotions, yet saw people as ants. They bestowed divine power, but there was good and evil among both gods and humans. As the years passed, those who possessed divine power split into two factions, each led by gods and ruling half the world. Their ideals clashed, and the two sides fought for many years. In the end, the faction of good gods won at the cost of sacrificing every god, including their chief deity. That battle was called the Twilight of the Gods. Afterward, most of the good gods perished, while most of the evil gods fell into slumber. To prevent the evil gods from awakening, those who possessed the power of the good gods formed the Godslayer Bureau.
