Journey to the West: From the Start, I Take Sun Wukong's Mom on a Trip

Zhang Mu transmigrates into Journey to the West and ends up at Flower-Fruit Mountain.

At this point, Sun Wukong has yet to be born. At the System's behest, Zhang Mu picks up Sun Wukong's mother and leaves.

Along the way, he passes through the Kingdom of Western Liang, Lion Camel Ridge, White Tiger Ridge, Green Wave Pool...

When the great calamity of Journey to the West finally arrives, Zhang Mu reaches Chang'an, the Tang capital, and waits for it to begin.

Yet by then, the Journey to the West has already gone completely off the rails.

The Buddha looks utterly bewildered. "The stone monkey hasn't even been born. Who the hell went and attacked a rock?"

Guanyin says helplessly, "All the tribulations have ended up in Chang'an. Are we even going to start this Journey to the West or not?"

The Jade Emperor asks, "Is this Journey to the West or the Reverse Journey to the West?"

Zhang Mu: "Why hasn't the Journey to the West started yet? I'm waiting to seize my chance during the great calamity!"
