A Wish Cast Down

The universe fights endlessly over the source of life, and one cosmos is destroyed in the process.

The Galaxy sighs and proposes, "Since you destroyed this world, shall we make another? Hmm, let the universe be its name, the planets its companions, and life its very source."

Seeing the two facing off, swords drawn, the Galaxy is amused. "By the way, I've traveled across the planets and found that people all make wishes upon objects. Our shadows are scattered throughout this vast universe. How dull. Why don't we journey through this new universe instead?"

The three look at one another. "Mm." "Sounds good!"

As the new universe is formed, a serene voice appears. Three voices speak as one: "I make this pendant my wish. Seal my memories, preserve my power, and place them within a soul, body, or spirit object. After countless lifetimes and trials, should any one of us destroy this wish, all three of us shall return to our original state. Thus do I make this wish upon the pendant."

From then on, the three gods become mortal objects and wander the world. The wish upon the pendant is fulfilled, and the three gods become one. If the wish is destroyed, all three will leave this world and return to the void.

After an unexpected meeting, they live through three lifetimes and discover true love. In the first, they are Yuexi, and the lord extinguishes their love. In the second, they are Jiuyuan, born from a joke. In the third, they are Lingxi, who changes the sorrows of the past.
