Great Tang: The Master Strategist Starts by Getting Li Er Drunk

After transmigrating, Lin Yuan arrived in the first year of Wude.

The Tang Dynasty had only just been founded, and warlords were rising across the land as flames of war raged everywhere.

Fortunately, Lin Yuan awakened a god-tier sign-in System, but it would take a full hundred days to activate.

Lin Yuan opened a tavern in Chang'an and made a fortune brewing beer.

The day before the System was finally due to activate, he accidentally got Li Shimin drunk. Li Shimin had come to drown his sorrows after his crushing defeat at Qianshuiyuan.

In passing, Lin Yuan let slip to Li Shimin that Xue Ju, Emperor of Western Qin, was about to die of illness.

Li Shimin didn't take him seriously at the time, but when he sobered up the next day, he received official confirmation of Xue Ju's death.

Li Shimin: "Lin Yuan is truly extraordinary! Having his help is a blessing for our Great Tang!"

Li Mi: "Lin Yuan, who serves under Li Shimin, is terrifying. I simply can't figure him out!"

Liu Wuzhou: "That accursed Lin Yuan actually persuaded my Yuchi Jingde to surrender!"

Wang Shichong: "Damn Lin Yuan! He came up with such a vicious scheme, poaching my Qin Shubao and Cheng Yaojin, then surrounding Luoyang and turning it into an isolated city!"
