The Yin-Yang Master: My Right Eye Sees into the Underworld

A merciless heart beneath a kindly face, a ghost's mind in a human form: I am a Yin-Yang Master!

"The skills I pass on to you must never be taught to your descendants, or endless trouble will follow. Remember this well!"

Those were the final words of my grandfather's master to him.

"Son, I truly regret teaching you those things. You must remember: never use them."

My grandfather, gaunt and skeletal in his sickbed, gripped my arm with bloodshot eyes. Those were his last words to me.

My grandfather defied his master's orders and passed all his skills on to me.

He took me from place to place across the land, teaching me along the way.

After three years, I had mastered every skill.

But I followed my grandfather's warning and never used them!

Yet no one could have imagined that disaster would still befall me.

While a temple was being renovated, a plaque in the distance suddenly fell and blinded my right eye. Then a beam made from an old locust tree burst into pieces, crashing straight into my arm and crushing it.

I thought it was all over.

But when I woke up, everything had changed.
