Night of the Sword

I have questioned the sword and the dust. Right and wrong no longer matter.

Every leaf and tree, every drop of water and mote of dust, has its own fate.

Humanity is like ants, and the cosmos is like humanity.

Humanity is not bound to ants, and the cosmos is not bound to humanity.

"I am like a green leaf. My life did not begin when I sprouted branches and buds, but when I drifted freely on the wind."

He sits before a tree, enduring eternity until he finds his way home.

This is the loneliness of eternity.
