Records of the North and the South

The book "North and South Fengyun Lu" is adapted from the history of the Song, Qi, Liang and Wei periods in the Southern and Northern Dynasties from 386 to 515 AD compiled by Sima Guang in Zizhi Tongjian. It is based on the rise and fall of the Wei Dynasty and the Song, Qi and Liang Dynasties in the Southern Dynasty, and the process of mutual replacement. Eventually, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty Yang Jian unified the Northern and Southern Dynasties, and then established the Sui Dynasty. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
