Great Tang: Li Er, I Saw Through Your Identity Long Ago

In the second year of the Zhenguan era, drought and locust plagues strike at the same time. Lu Yang transmigrates to the Tang Dynasty and awakens a God-Tier Sign-In System.

At this time, Li Shimin is being pressured by his officials to write an edict blaming himself for the calamities. Troubled, he leaves the palace with Zhangsun Wuji to clear his head and happens to meet Lu Yang. Curious, he asks him about the problems facing the country.

"Why do droughts happen?"

"Why can't we pray for rain?"

"The land is beset by calamities. Is the Confucian idea that disasters are caused by a ruler's lack of virtue really true? Should His Majesty write an edict blaming himself?"

"Everyone says the Son of Heaven has no rightful claim to the throne. What do you think of the Xuanwu Gate Incident?"

The System immediately reveals Li Shimin's identity, while Lu Yang pretends not to know.

"There are three causes of drought..."

"Pray for rain? That's a mere trick. I can do it in a snap!"

"The idea that a ruler's lack of virtue causes disasters is pure nonsense. An edict blaming himself is even more absurd."

"What do I think? I watch sitting down, standing sideways, or lying down."
