Traveling in Africa, I Get Captured and Forced to Become a Mercenary

Biologist Su Chen travels to the tropical rainforests of Black Continent to observe the habits of gorillas, only to be captured and forced to become a mercenary.

On his first mission, he and his teammates are sent to rescue people from a human sacrifice ritual held by the evil cult known as Voodoo.

A flaw in their plan leaves them surrounded by hundreds of savage cultists, with no weapons at all.

At the critical moment, Su Chen binds the Animal Gene Modification System.

After injecting himself with gorilla genes, Su Chen becomes a one-man killing machine. He beats down hundreds of cultists single-handedly and successfully rescues the hostages.

After turning the tide of battle, Su Chen is elected commander of the legion.

And so, a gene-modified legion is born, soon to make its name heard across the world.

For war, give eagles the agility of apes and you have a squadron of bombers.

For treasure hunting, give elephants the digging ability of pangolins and they can tunnel through a museum to steal its treasures with ease.

For assassination, give people the climbing ability of geckos and they can scale walls and slip through windows to kill their targets without a trace.
