One Piece: The Guardian

Birth name: Ed Dane. Codename: Raphael.

Born on Ohara, he was four years older than Robin. When Ohara was hit by a Buster Call, he survived by hiding on a neighboring island. Pirates later captured him and sold him into slavery in the East Blue. He was rescued by the Marines on Bamboo Island in the East Blue. At fourteen, he joined the Marines, and thanks to his exceptional talent, he became a Marine Vice Admiral at twenty. During a battle on the Grand Line, he was defeated by Whitebeard while protecting his subordinates. Later, Vegapunk modified him using the "Life Design Blueprint," turning him into an even more powerful "living human weapon" with the codename "Guardian."
