I, Tang Sanzang, Refuse the Journey to the West from the Start

Chen Xuan transmigrates into Journey to the West, becoming Tang Sanzang, the monk destined to travel west for the scriptures. Using the Anti-Journey-to-the-West System, he secretly grows powerful enough to reach the Quasi-Saint realm, and even teaches Li Shimin how to wage war.

Li Shimin: Imperial Preceptor, are we really going to wipe out Goguryeo?

Chen Xuan: If Goguryeo isn't wiped out, I won't be able to sleep!

Guanyin: Jin Chanzi, it's time to set off on your journey west!

Chen Xuan: I refuse!

Princess Peacock: Holy Monk, are you married?

Sun Wukong: I still remember how Master once smashed Mount Five Elements with one punch, pinned me to the ground, and made me swear to become his disciple.

Golden-Winged Great Peng: I don't know anything! He came right at me and started beating me, yelling, "Are you tired of living? How dare you try to steal my wife!" I haven't even left Lion Camel City in three hundred years!
