Yu's Consciousness

This story is set in the world of Inuyasha. Unlike the original, the Shikon Jewel sees its own future, where Kagome makes a wish that causes it to disappear. Unwilling to vanish, the Shikon Jewel seems intent on changing the original timeline so it can exist forever.

For years, the Jewel has been searching for someone capable of changing the future... until it spies, through a crack in the space around the Bone-Eater's Well, the power in the subspace. Everything the Jewel does next further fractures the already-sundered space-time, split apart by Kagome's transmigration, creating a timeline much like the original Inuyasha timeline... and taking its place. As for how this world's course will change from what came before... we'll have to see what the person created by the Shikon Jewel, to change the past and future, will do…
