Snail Manhunt

After helping an old person, he accidentally gets a snail ring. Any wish he makes will come true, but a snail will hunt him down in return. He unexpectedly awakens the Death Note, gaining free access to Hell and the power to control life and death at will. Why is the snail hunting the protagonist? When it comes after him, he simply plays dead and enters Hell. As his wishes pile up and the snail grows stronger, how will he manage to lie low and survive?
