The Underworld Vanished, So I Formed the Thirteenth Death God Squad

A Soul Reaper setting, with stories about figures from China.

Wu Ming transmigrates to a parallel world called Myriad Realms Star.

Here, myths have collapsed and the underworld has vanished, leaving the souls of the dead stranded in the mortal world. Demons have returned, and ghosts run rampant.

The world can only maintain peace with the help of a handful of supernatural ability users who slay demons and vanquish evil.

Wu Ming owns an antique shop passed down through his family. An ancient broadsword in the shop activates the Soul Reaper System, turning him into a wandering Soul King.

With the System's help, he grows stronger step by step, builds the Seireitei, searches for the Thirteen Divine Weapons, and forms the Thirteen Soul Reaper Squads.

Guan Yu, Yue Fei, Qin Qiong, and ten other historical figures lead the Thirteen Soul Reaper Squads, wielding thirteen divine blades to rebuild the Soul Society.

Before long, Wu Ming has taken in countless ghosts, subdued every kind of evil, and restored order to the Three Realms.

But all of this is only the beginning...
