The Primordial Continent

Where am I? When I opened my eyes, I saw hideous-looking ghost soldiers waving whips and lashing the people around them, shouting as they did, "You're all dead. This is the Underworld."

Am I dead? I remember going out to buy some bread, just like any other day. A speeding car drove past, and when I woke up, I was here. I joined the crowd and lined up with countless figures dressed in white, because I knew that resisting would only earn me a beating with a whip.
