Synopsis

Zhou Yan woke up one morning and suddenly realized he had transmigrated to the underworld, where he was now a ghost officer about to go capture Sun Wukong!

What was he supposed to do?

Just then, a girl descended from the heavens and said she wanted to marry him.

The System gave him a choice: get married, and he would receive the Fortune Jade Disc.

Zhou Yan chose marriage to save his own skin. But on his wedding night, he felt seven hands on his wife's back.

That choice set Zhou Yan on a path to changing the course of Journey to the West.

As Buddhists and Daoists vie for power, Zhou Yan becomes the Emperor of the Western Ox Continent, the highest-ranking official in the region. What will this mean for the journey to the west?
