Coal Tycoon! I Fooled a Female Director into Working for Me

In the summer of 2000, Chen Hao arrives in the film industry, still in its infancy, with a huge sum of money from his family.

From the start, he runs into a beautiful female director holding a script that would never pass censorship, trying to swindle him out of five million!

Chen Hao: "Director Han, do you think this script will pass censorship?"

Han Mengmeng: "Mr. Chen, a film that uses the dark side of human nature to showcase the changes of an era is full of depth. My script is pretty good."

Chen Hao: "Pretty good? I want to invest in a film full of positive energy. Okay!"

Tsk! A moment ago he was cuddling a girl, and now he's going on about positive energy.

Where's your face?

Are you kidding me?

Han Mengmeng looks down on him. Just as she's about to retort, Chen Hao tosses a script right back at her.

In an instant, Han Mengmeng is dazzled. "That's amazing! Mr. Chen, let me direct this script!"

"No problem. See you at the hotel tonight."

"..."

Han Mengmeng: So this is what you were getting at.
