I'm Just a Cook, but the Empress Insists on Marrying Me

Just after transmigrating to another world of a thousand rival states, Xia Hong was unlucky enough to be drafted into the army.

Fortunately, thanks to his impressive cooking skills, he became a cook who rarely had to go to the front lines.

He thought that was all life had in store for him, but after casually shaping a terracotta soldier, he unexpectedly awakened a System.

For every two enemies he killed, the terracotta soldier he had sculpted could be transformed into a born soldier.

With the System's help, after two years he had unknowingly become the power behind the scenes in the military camp.

As for stepping into the spotlight, he lived by the motto of keeping his head down, so he insisted that was absolutely impossible.

However, when war broke out between the two countries and their own commander defected, Xia Hong inevitably caught the attention of the female emperor.

After holding the city, reclaiming lost territory, and invading the enemy state, the female emperor issued an imperial decree ordering him to come to the capital and marry her.

Xia Hong, convinced that the bird that sticks its head out gets shot: "I'm just a cook. I can't handle this!"
