Three Kingdoms: From the Start, I Swore Brotherhood with Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei

Lin Yu's soul transmigrates to the end of the Han Dynasty. Through a twist of fate, he becomes sworn brothers with Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei.

In the first year of Zhongping, Liu Bei is rewarded for defeating the Yellow Turban Army and appointed county commandant of Anxi.

Not long afterward, the imperial court sends an inspector to dismiss some officials who were promoted for military service.

Liu Bei: Fourth Brother, how about we kill the inspector and then run?

Lin Yu: Why run?

If Uncle Liu won't handle something, Lin Yu tells Zhang Fei to handle it. If Uncle Liu won't kill someone, Lin Yu tells Zhang Fei to kill them.

In short, Lin Yu takes care of whatever Uncle Liu can handle, and is even more determined to handle what he can't!

That's how we do things.

Zhang Fei: I'm suffering here. I take the blame, he gets the credit. Fourth Brother is so cunning and devious.

Liu Bei: My Fourth Brother is invincible!

Cao Cao: Lin Yu truly is my lifelong rival!
