Chronicles of Gu Chen

Millions of years ago, ancient gods waged war in this world, shattering it into six realms: Heaven, Earth, Mystic, Yellow, Vast, and Desolate. Each realm became a separate world, with the Celestial Realm supreme among them. A million years ago, life emerged there and broke the silence. These beings developed rapidly, and the realm gradually flourished. Ten thousand years ago, a being from the Celestial Realm broke through the spatial barriers and found the other realms, proclaiming himself "Lord of the Celestial Realm." He discovered that each realm had developed along roughly the same path, but that none had spiritual energy to rival the Celestial Realm. He then established passages linking the realms.

Five thousand years ago, the Lord of the Celestial Realm set off into the void to seek the realm beyond the seven worlds. Before departing, he set up a barrier that would suppress the cultivation of powerful Celestial Realm beings who entered other realms, to keep them from disrupting the peace there.

And beyond these seven realms lies the Great Thousand World, the origin of the ancient gods!
