A Foodie on the Journey to the West: I Braised the Inspiration King from the Start

Meng Fan transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West and gets the Big Eater System.

The System can always use sign-ins to rustle up all sorts of ingredients for him.

Until one day,

The Dragon King of the Eastern Sea, looking utterly pitiful,

weeps as he eats the "dragon-whisker noodles" Meng Fan made for him.

The Bodhisattva Guanyin is dumbfounded.

The tribulations she designed for the journey west

are either being stewed, steamed, or braised…

Then, at last,

in the Great Thunderclap Monastery on Spirit Mountain,

Buddha Mother Kong Xuan laments indignantly:

"He actually made me eat my own kinsmen!

And he said they were pickled chicken feet…"
