I Am Fahai, Leading Wukong, Yang Jian, and Dapeng on the Pilgrimage

Reborn as Fahai in the world of Journey to the West, he took Tang Sanzang's place as the pilgrim on the journey to obtain the scriptures. He thought that was already outrageous, but the rest of the pilgrimage party was even more absurd.

Those who accompanied Fahai on his journey were none other than Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Golden-Winged Great Peng!

A demon has powerful connections?

Yang Jian, the god of Heaven, kills it! The Great Peng, demon of the Buddhist realm, kills it too!

On the road to the scriptures, kill gods when you meet them, kill Buddhas when you meet them!

He killed so many celestial immortals that they dared not descend from Heaven, so many sacred mounts from Spirit Mountain that they trembled in fear, and so many demons that they couldn't even make up the eighty-one trials!

Guanyin, this demon is steeped in sin. If you insist on protecting it, you'll be its accomplice. Don't blame me when I strike you down. Great Might, Heavenly Dragon! Prajna Buddhas! World-Honored Ksitigarbha! Prajna, pama, hum!

When he reached Spirit Mountain, Fahai rebuked the Buddha: "Tathagata, the demons are everywhere in the Western Lands, and the people suffer unbearably. You are unworthy of being a Buddha. Surrender your seat to me at once!"
