Have You Had Enough Yet?

We used to be so close. When he was going through a rough patch in love, I brought him happiness. I was his ray of sunshine. How wonderful it would have been if we could have stayed that way. I risked everything to love him, and finally, one day, he said, "Let's forget about what happened in the past." From then on, we became strangers. I don't know if love can still be called love when it reaches the point of utter self-abasement.
