Funeral Makeup Artist: Sewing Up a Female Ghost’s Back from the Start

On a dark and stormy night, a vengeful ghost comes knocking.

Su Yao transmigrates to a world where ghosts have returned. He used to be a corpse tailor, but since that trade falls under the funeral business, he opens an embalming shop.

As ghosts grow more and more unruly, a female ghost knocks on his door in the middle of the night and asks him to stitch up her back.

Su Yao: "Stitching up your back is no problem, but don't move. If you do, I'll have to move along with you."

In desperation, Su Yao binds himself to a Divine Embalming System.

"Depict Black and White Impermanence, capture and escort souls, and punish evil spirits."

"Depict the City God and the Judge of the Underworld, govern reincarnation between the two realms, and command yin and yang."

"Depict the Ten Kings of Hell: what you don't bring into this world, you can't take with you when you die."

In this world, where humans can only seal vengeful ghosts and cannot kill them, Su Yao uses the Yin Deities to pulverize the ghosts and turn them into soul ink.

The Soul-Reaping Brush traces its strokes, and all the Yin Deities take their places.
