Reborn to Face the Sun

What would it feel like to hit the ground?

Lin Xiaorong suddenly thought of this question, then answered herself: cold.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes.

She had truly experienced both this question and its answer, but it had happened when she was a child, the time she blacked out and fell to the floor of the main room in her family's house.

Her family's... main room?

Lin Xiaorong opened her eyes and stared blankly at the ceiling. There was no doubt that it was the ceiling of her family's main room, but...

Wasn't she dead?

She'd fallen down the stairs and hit her head, then spent a day in the hospital in a daze. At the doctor's suggestion, she'd been taken home. She should have stopped breathing!
