In Journey to the West: I Snatch a Bride from the Start

Ye Qiu transmigrates to the world of Journey to the West.

He happens to arrive just in time for the famous scene where Yin Wenjiao, the daughter of the Prime Minister of Chang'an, publicly seeks a husband by throwing an embroidered ball.

At the crucial moment, the System activates and gives him three choices.

"Choice One: The Host ** abducts Yin Wenjiao and chooses not to get involved in the calamity of Journey to the West. Reward: 100,000 taels of gold and ten properties on Chang'an's main streets."

"Choice Two: The Host finds a way to take Yin Wenjiao for himself and helps Jin Chanzi be born. Reward: one 9,000-year peach."

"Choice Three: The Host abducts Chen Guangrui, the original male lead, and becomes a live-in son-in-law of the Yin family. Reward: one supreme treasure chest."

Ye Qiu: "I choose three. How hard can it be to abduct him?"

Not long afterward,

The one who was supposed to spread Buddhism eastward still hadn't been born.

The Tathagata Buddha of Western Buddhism said, "Go check if this child has some congenital defect. Why hasn't the pilgrim been born yet?"
