Elemental Campus God

In 2077, humanity discovered large deposits of crystals in the Earth's crust, each containing energy comparable to nuclear fusion. Even a crystal the size of a palm could power an entire city. Scientists named them Star Ore. Soon, people began mining the Earth's crust on a massive scale. The abundance of energy made it possible to realize scientific theories that had once been mere speculation, and technology, long stagnant, began advancing rapidly once more. Hover cars, intelligent robots, combat mechs, space battleships, and countless other things from humanity's imagination appeared before the public. Later generations called this glorious era the Interstellar Age. Along with the Steam Age and the Telecommunications Age, it became one of the three great eras marking humanity's passage through the centuries.

By 2117, fewer than one in ten people remained alive. Against invisible, intangible monsters, even science-fiction weapons were no longer a threat. Humanity relied on sacred artifacts to build city-states and establish academies to train Elementalists, the natural enemies of monsters. This is an extremely serious story set on campus... Ahem... Serious...
