Showbiz: Oh No, the Campus Belle Exposed My Oscar

Weibo trending topic: "Shocking! An insider just revealed that the Oscar statuette recently won by a Hollywood big shot has been stolen."

The film academy's campus belle joined in the fun on Weibo: "Actually, the statuette is with my junior, Shen Feng."

No one paid much attention at first. Everyone knew it was just a joke.

Then a netizen who knew their stuff noticed that the statuette the campus belle had posted a photo of was actually real!

In no time, film fans mocked and insulted Shen Feng, pushing him onto the trending list: "He can't win awards, so he resorts to theft. He's a disgrace to Chinese cinema. He must be expelled!"

Faced with all the doubt and ridicule, Shen Feng merely smiled faintly.

Half an hour later.

The Hollywood big shot came forward to clarify: "You've all misunderstood. The statuette belonged to Mr. Shen all along. He just prefers to keep a low profile and didn't want to show up, so I accepted it on his behalf!"

The entire internet was stunned: "Holy crap! There's a big shot right beside me?!"
