Honghuang: I Am Suiren Shi, and I Scheme Against Taishang Laozi from the Start

Zhou Qian transmigrated into the Primordial World and became Suiren Shi.

As the Human Sovereign, the mere thought of the humans being slaughtered by the demons and used to forge the Witch-Slaying Sword filled him with crushing anxiety.

Fortunately, he was bound to a scheming System.

But with this System, which rewarded him for making plans and plotting, Zhou Qian had no choice but to work hard at becoming a truly devious schemer.

So he went to Kunlun Mountain and tried to persuade Laozi to pass down his teachings early.

Laozi, who was still searching for a path to sainthood, was successfully persuaded by Zhou Qian and founded the Human Religion.

At the time, humanity was still weak, and tensions between the Wu and demon clans had not yet escalated. The humans' place as the protagonists of the world was still uncertain.

So after founding his religion, Laozi did not become a saint.

With no way out, Laozi could only secretly help humanity grow stronger, then teach them the arts of alchemy and artifact crafting...

After exhausting himself to finally become a saint, Laozi said, "Why do I feel like I've been had...?"
