Sparse as the Morning Stars

"Shen Ruochen, you know what? You're my whole world!" the girl said, gazing affectionately at the boy beside her.

The boy stepped forward, patted her on the head, and smiled tenderly. "Silly girl. Whenever you need me, I'll be here."

The girl asleep in bed? She grinned in her sleep. I bet she was having a sweet, beautiful dream.

But before long, her sweet smile slowly faded. She seemed to have dreamed of something frightening. Sweat began to form on her forehead. I moved closer, wanting to wipe it away, and heard her repeating a name over and over: Ruochen.

At that moment, I froze. I thought, this girl must love that boy named "Ruochen" very, very much!
