I Painted a Priceless National Treasure, and My Coworkers Mistook Me for a Thief

Qin Cheng invited his coworkers home for dinner. After the meal, everyone sat on the sofa chatting.

Just then, the TV news reported that an international art thief had stolen a priceless national treasure from a museum and showed the painting.

One of his coworkers suddenly jolted with realization.

Why did that painting look exactly like the one in Qin Cheng's living room? And Qin Cheng had just visited the museum!

They exchanged glances, fled the house, and immediately called the police.

A short while later, the police arrived with an appraisal expert.

"The brushwork is masterful. The colors and technique are identical to the original. This is undoubtedly the genuine article!"

"The evidence is conclusive. Do you have anything to say for yourself?"

Qin Cheng looked completely innocent.

"If I say I copied it for practice, would you believe me?"
