The Taoist Temple: Don't Push Me, I'm Really Not a Taoist Priest

Chen Fusheng was once the king of Luocheng’s underworld. After his grandfather passed away, he returned for the funeral, only to be forced by the System to stay and inherit his grandfather’s run-down Taoist temple.

“But I’m really not a Taoist priest. Don’t make me do this. System, how about letting me go back?”

“No! You’re not leaving until you complete the mission to revitalize the Taoist faith!”

“Fine, fine, fine. Where are my three thousand men? Get them all over here. Uh... to become Taoist priests!” Chen Fusheng roared.

“Seriously, Boss? You’re giving up being the king of Luocheng to become a Taoist priest? And you’re making us become Taoist priests too? Boss, I know a psychiatrist. Want me to give you his card?”

“Chen Fusheng, are you trying to make me laugh myself to death? You promised you’d come marry me, but you became a Taoist priest instead.” Xiao Zhiruo, Luocheng’s number one beauty and the queen of Nancheng, laughed until she was positively radiant.

As the temple’s business... no, its incense offerings, flourished day by day, its congregation grew larger and larger. Even the Nine Heavens Mysterious Maiden and the Nine-Tailed Fox came to pray...

Life really is pretty great.

I’m loving it.
