The Great Traveling Earl

The Sirius people attacked Earth twice, and humanity suffered crushing defeats both times. Though the Sirius people won, they were swallowed by a mysterious force on Earth and failed to take the planet's life-gene material back with them. Lin Jun, ruler of Sirius, was baffled.

Zhe Dan, one of the Sirius people, narrowly survived. He explored the East Sea and found the Kingdom of Lingyu, a nation of liquid people with immeasurable energy. But the Kingdom of Lingyu was protected by a thick membrane of water, and outsiders could not enter without permission. Zhe Dan could not destroy them.

Xi Wangmu, mistress of Kunlun Valley, intercepted a coded message Lin Jun had sent to Zhe Dan: the Sirius people would attack Earth again, and Zhe Dan was to prepare to receive them. To protect Earth's people, Xi Wangmu resolved to put the Sirius Strategy into action: bait the hook and lure Zhe Dan in, eliminate him first, then face the Sirius people.

Xing Bo, a deputy from Dang Kang City in Qin Mountain, was unlucky enough to be chosen as bait by both Zhe Dan and Xi Wangmu. Their plots, both covert and overt, unfolded in turn. Xing Bo, too, began a legendary journey through one brush with death after another...
