Marrying Chang'e: I Take Tang Sanzang's Place in the Buddhist Realm

A lighthearted Journey to the West novel. Devout fans of the original, proceed with caution.

Chu Anxiang is reborn in the Moon Palace. One glimpse of Chang'e's snowy-white beauty is all it takes to etch her in his heart. For the rest of his life, his wishes are to grow stronger and marry Chang'e.

But just as he's starting to dream, that monkey smashes his hopes with a single blow of his staff.

Beneath the Golden-Hooped Rod, Chu Anxiang awakens the Soul-Devouring System.

From then on, in the world of Journey to the West, Chu Anxiang does nothing but show off and get beaten up...

"Hmph, with the Nine Deaths Mystical Art protecting me, the more you hit me, the wilder I get!"

"System, well, I'll be! Could you make things any more expensive? Leave me a little money so I can marry Chang'e, okay?"

"Hey, you insolent monkey! If it weren't for your master's sake, I'd eat your monkey brains!"

"Tianpeng, come over for some braised pork rice! What? You don't eat pork?"

"Old Sha, listen to me, eating Tang Sanzang's flesh won't make you immortal. Hey, you don't believe me? I've got a piece here. Give it a try..."
