Journey to the West: The Mighty Heavenly Dragon, Saving All Beings

As bandits advance with knives,

Tang Sanzang suddenly strikes, and his Mighty Heavenly Dragon smashes them into a pulp.

Sun Wukong stares up in confusion, his little head full of big questions. "Master, didn't you say monks should be compassionate and mustn't take lives lightly?"

"The Buddha is compassionate, but does not save the wicked."

The immortals and Buddhas reach a consensus over the calamity: Tang Sanzang will travel west and bring Buddhism to the Great Tang in the east, ushering in Buddhism's golden age.

Who could have guessed that a great Buddhist calamity would begin as soon as the journey west started?

The Bodhisattvas are gone, all the Buddhas are silent, and Tang Sanzang proclaims himself the Buddha Lord.
