Showbiz: Eliminating the Venice Best Actor from the Start

From the start, he transmigrates as the cousin of a *-movie queen and is pushed by a director onto the stage of I'm an Actor.

Su Chen is stunned. In this world, actors use 6G high-definition holographic projection technology. There are no sets or advance filming, and even minor roles are played by computer projections, not real people.

Each episode pits ten real-life actors against one another on set in a single take. Best Actor, box-office champion, and ratings champion: what should be a clash of amateurs turns into a battle of the gods.

Everyone thinks Su Chen will be crushed. Then he binds to a System and makes a stunning comeback.

He's Li Xiaoyao, the free-spirited, devoted hero of Chinese Paladin; Mei Changsu from Nirvana in Fire; Cheng Dieyi from Farewell My Concubine; Ye Hua from Eternal Love; and Luo Ji from The Three-Body Problem.

Xia Yu: "I can't believe it myself, but Su Chen eliminated me, an Oscar-winning actor!"

Hu Ge: "I'm crying. I only lasted one episode."

The Factory Flower: "Wasn't life as a slacker good enough? Why did I come here to be humiliated?"

Audience: "Ahhh, is he really Baby's cousin? I don't believe it. The Yang family can't possibly have genes like that."

Su Chen: "I really didn't want to be famous. The director forced me into it."
