The Nation's Scholar: He Got Cancer Researching Nuclear Fusion, Then Was Cyberbullied for Not Giving Up His Seat

After seeing the hospital's cancer diagnosis, Chen Jin sat alone on the bus and sighed helplessly.

He had developed cancer because, while researching nuclear fusion, he had been accidentally exposed to radiation.

Given the situation, all Chen Jin wanted was to get home as soon as possible and talk to his System in private so he could fix his health problem.

But while he was riding the bus, an old man and his mischievous child sat beside him.

The old man glared at Chen Jin and aggressively tried to guilt-trip him into changing seats.

Chen Jin ignored him. The old man immediately started cursing and even got physical, while the child beside him kept making a racket.

Unable to take it any longer, Chen Jin slapped the child across the face.

As it happened, an unscrupulous reporter was lurking in a corner.

They cut out the context, sensationalized the incident, and posted it online.

In an instant, Chen Jin became the target of online abuse.

But no one knew just how terrifying his identity was...
