The gods received a divine oracle: When Heimdall blows the Gjallarhorn, the gods will fall into the same realm, heralding the arrival of Ragnarok. After learning of this prophecy, Odin, father of the Norse gods, tries to defy fate and ensure that he remains immortal...
So he wants to send someone to kill Heimdall, but he doesn't want anyone to know that he has murdered a member of his own pantheon. He explains the stakes to Zeus and gives him four dwarves capable of crafting the world's rarest treasures, asking Zeus to send someone to help him kill Heimdall.
