Selling the Sunset

Setting: Both the male and female leads come from wealthy families. The general plot:

They meet as classmates in their first year of high school and share a seven-year romance.

The female lead is an academic star, talented in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, and comes from a wealthy family. She has an older brother whose looks captivate countless girls, though he has a goofy personality.

The male lead has a seductive appearance and comes from a rich family, but he is wild and carefree, with countless girls around him. He's the school's top troublemaker, has a fiery temper, and terrible grades.

He falls in love at first sight when he meets the female lead and tries to hit on her, but she turns him down because he's not her type. He changes a lot for her and spends three years pursuing her, doing many things for her.

When she discovers what he's done, she gradually develops feelings for him. Seeing how devoted he is, she agrees to be with him. But their happiness doesn't last. The second female lead is a classic scheming white lotus who keeps meddling, and things get so bad that the couple break up for the first time. Later, the male lead goes to apologize.

Her brother catches on and keeps trying to stop her from dating him. She makes her determination clear, and her brother finally lets him be.

After the college entrance exams, the female lead gets into a university in Xinyi, while the male lead decides to start a business.
