Crowdfunding a Trillion to Build a Tower on Earth

Dad talked a bunch of international bigwigs into lending him 600 billion to carry out a plan to benefit humanity: transmitting energy from space!

That's right! Earth's energy supplies were about to run out. The only way to save the planet was to obtain energy from outer space.

Dad's plan was to launch 20,000 solar-panel satellites into orbit by rocket, then transmit microwave energy back to Earth.

Two years later.

Dad couldn't keep up the act and ran off. The bigwigs dragged his son out to take the fall. To pay back the money owed to powerful figures from around the world and complete the grand con, the son decided to pull an even bigger one.

That's right!

Lend me another trillion!

I'm going to build a space elevator between Earth and space to transport 20,000 satellites and carry out Dad's plan to benefit humanity.

When the bigwigs from around the world found out, they wanted to beat him up!
