Great Tang: From the Start, I Beat Up Yuchi Gong

In the third year of the Zhenguan era, Wu Ziguang escorted King Yeongnyu of Goguryeo and Yeon Gaesomun, the makniji, to Chang'an as captives. Emperor Taizong, Li Shimin, was delighted and held a celebration at the Ganlu Hall in Taiji Palace.

At the banquet, Wu Ziguang tried his best to keep a low profile, but his abilities wouldn't let him. Then a drunken Yuchi Gong came over and demanded to know why Wu Ziguang was sitting in his place of honor. Wu Ziguang angrily beat him up.

"Ziguang is truly a filial man!" Fang Xuanling exclaimed.

"Ziguang is an unparalleled general, one of my trusted pillars!" Li Shimin exclaimed.
