I'm a Supporting Character, but I Can Steal the Protagonist's Scenes Whenever I Want!

As a side character, isn't it perfectly normal to steal the protagonist's scenes whenever you feel like it?

Titanic: The one shouting “I'm the king of the world!” won't necessarily be Jack. It could be me, Cal!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Elizabeth won't necessarily marry the blacksmith Will. I, Captain Barbossa, will take both the bride and the Black Pearl!

Green Snake: Bai Suzhen's child won't necessarily be Xu Xian's. It could be mine, Fahai's!

Infernal Affairs: As they say, a successful general is built on a mountain of bones. The Chief Inspector post in the Major Crimes Unit is mine, Han Chen!

Batman 2: The Joker was me all along! Batman wakes up one day to find the whole city against him!

Frozen: Anna is claiming Elsa, the Snow Queen's, first time!

Kung Fu: Everybody knows the Axe Gang belongs to me, the Beast!

Su Mu shook his head and sighed. “The protagonist can't get it together. What am I supposed to do? I'm desperate too!”
