On New Year's Eve, I Was Haunted by a Vengeful Ghost

A parallel world, December 31, 2030, New Year's Eve.

Shen Yuan encountered the return of vengeful ghosts. After being rescued, he awakened a Shop System.

"System activation options: the Host may choose one of the following two paths to activate."

"Path 1: The Host transforms into a vengeful ghost and earns Shop Points by killing people and committing evil, growing stronger in the process."

"Path 2: The Host remains human and earns Shop Points by killing vengeful ghosts, ridding the world of evil and upholding the Dao."

"I choose Path 2!"

Why become a ghost when you can stay a perfectly good human?

This is a world where vengeful ghosts have returned.
