Please, Just Be a Decent NPC!

Ning Zixuan transmigrates into a game world...

When he wakes up, he discovers that he's become a lake-patrol fish demon, the lowest-level cannon-fodder NPC.

Even worse, the players will arrive in full force in just three days!

To survive, this cannon-fodder NPC begins a frantic journey of self-preservation.

And then the entire game world goes haywire!

"What? A huge crowd of NPCs is gathered outside the newbie village, scrambling to farm players for experience?"

"What? Five more newbie villages have fallen, and the players have been driven out by NPCs?"

"What? Summoner builds are all the rage among NPCs now? You can't even go out without bringing along two or three player pets?"

Good grief, the NPCs have gone feral! Can we just quit playing?
