The Ancient Way Beneath the Azure Heavens

The name Ancient Road Beneath the Blue Sky feels a little too ornate. If I were to give this book a simple, direct title, I think The Chronicles of the Shu Emperor or The Ancient Shu Road would be more fitting.

I personally like the story of Cancong, the ancient Shu king, but there are few records about him, and they're all vague. Some say he lived in the era of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, while others place him in the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Since the accounts differ, I'll just make up a story for him!

The book features many figures from antiquity, including the Three Sovereigns, the Five Emperors, and Yu the Great, as well as various ancient divine beasts and demonic beasts. Some of the setting is drawn from the Classic of Mountains and Seas.

My passion is weaving Cancong into ancient mythology and telling a complete story.

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any similarities are purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
