I, the Peerless Sword God, Spent Ten Years Signing In at Purgatory

From the start, he is forced into a life-or-death duel with Ye Tian, the Favored Son of Heaven and a body naturally attuned to the Dao. He is gravely wounded, has his cultivation crippled, and is thrown by his sect into a prison in the abyss of the Ten-Thousand-Fathom Purgatory.

After ten years of keeping a low profile and signing in, he becomes an unparalleled Sword God. When he finally emerges, he is the sect's steadfast pillar, destroying invading enemies with a single sword strike. He then storms the Favored Son of Heaven's sect and destroys its Daoist institution, sending his old foe, the Favored Son of Heaven with a body naturally attuned to the Dao, fleeing in panic.

From that day on, the Dao Xuan Sect rises to shake the world, domineering and unmatched.
