I, Sun Wukong, Refuse to Become the Buddha King of the Relics!

A great calamity is coming, and it requires the blood of a Saint!

After transmigrating ten thousand years into the future, Sun Wukong learns that he is destined to be the one who answers the calamity. He gives a cold laugh and declares, "I'm done playing along with you people!"

Haotian: "What's going on? Why hasn't Sun Wukong come to wreak havoc in the Heavenly Palace yet? I'm practically itching to crawl under the table!"

The Tathagata: "There's something strange about this monkey. He won't even take the treasures I offer him. Is it really so hard these days to help someone become a Saint?"

The Six Saints: "Sun Wukong is the one destined to answer the calamity. He has to become a Saint! If he doesn't, we'll be the ones answering it!"

Hongjun: "That damn useless idiot can't even cultivate a single Saint! Great Monkey, come on over. I'll give you my Purple Cloud Palace. As long as you become a Saint, we can work anything out."

Three hundred years later, the great calamity arrives. Sun Wukong opens his eyes and drives his Golden-Banded Staff through the Heavenly Palace, punching a hole right through it.

"Of course I'll become a Saint, but not one who exists to put an end to the great calamity. I'll be the greatest Saint in the Three Realms!"

"Wutian, Yang Jian, Guanyin, come on! I'll lead you up to the Ninth Heaven, slay the Six Saints, and smash the Purple Cloud Palace!"
